mdINR: total coumadin patient management

mdINR combines a PT/INR Home Self Testing service and the premier Anticoagulation Management Software to manage and track Point-of-Care, Lab Draw, Home Draw and Self Testing patients.

What is PT/INR Home Testing?

Eligible Coumadin ® (warfarin) patients now have the option to check their PT/INR at home, at anytime. Testing at home is a convenient alternative to going to the doctor’s office, (an outside lab, or by a home draw) to check their INR levels, and frequent self-testing has been proven to reduce the risk of bleeding and clotting. 1,2

The physician’s office (or hospital based Coumadin Clinic) will continue to review their patient PT/INR test results and make any required changes to the dosage.
